Early Childhood Aide (2026-2027)

Piper Early Childhood Center has an opening for an aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Starting wage: $16.80/hour commensurate with education and experience. The position is open until filled.QualificationsHigh school diploma with additional education preferredExperience working with young peopleAlternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Job GoalTo work on a regular basis with students and teachers in an effort to accomplish the goals of the district’s educational program.Essential Job FunctionsPlanning activities in collaboration with teachers.Assisting teaching faculty in classroom supervision, observation and record keeping.Assist in the administering and scoring a variety of tests according to student performance and behavior.Performs errands and tasks as instructed and as necessary.Confer, as needed, with teachers concerning programs and materials to meet student needs.Under the supervision of the classroom teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material .Participate in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.Establishes a supportive relationship with the students in cooperation with the classroom teacher.Follows all Board of Education policies, rules and regulations as applicable.Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisorTo ApplySubmit online applicationLetter of inquiryResumeCurrent referencesCollege transcripts (if applicable)This is an hourly position. 7.5 hours per day.
