Job TypePart-timeDescriptionMedix Infusion is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team part time in supporting our Bellevue Clinic. In this essential role, you'll be a vital part of our clinical team, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients while supporting nursing staff across multiple sites.As a CMA, you'll collaborate closely with our Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and contribute to an outstanding patient experience. This is an onsite position on Monday, and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.About Medix InfusionMedix Infusion is a technology-driven healthcare platform enhancing patient care and access to infusion therapies. We specialize in disease management and infusion pharmacy services for chronic and acutely ill patients, especially in underserved communities.We offer personalized home and in-suite infusion therapies, ensuring convenience and comfort. Our expert team provides a comprehensive range of treatments, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectables-making each patient's journey as smooth as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist patients and support nurses in the clinic to facilitate smooth and efficient care deliveryFloat between Bellevue and Renton clinic locations as scheduledAccurately document patient interactions and care details in the EMR systemCoordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams, including home health, pharmacy, and insurance providersCollaborate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation for timely referral processingStay current on reimbursement policies and procedures, ensuring complianceAttend departmental meetings and participate in ongoing training and development sessionsModel professional, courteous, and compassionate behavior in all patient and team interactionsProficiently use Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel for communication and documentationRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentActive Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification requiredPreferred: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare role, ideally in infusion servicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills to support interactions with patients, staff, and vendorsCompetency in Microsoft Office Suite and company self-service payroll softwareSensitivity to cultural and language differences in patient careBasic mathematical skills for routine calculationsAbility to travel locally between Bellevue and Renton clinic sitesCandidates will be required to complete a Predictive Index Assessment as part of the recruitment processPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the primary functions of this role.
