Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Foley, AL & in Gulf Shores AL. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and managing inventory. The Sous Chef will also be involved in menu planning, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.QualificationsStrong cooking and food preparation skillsExperience in kitchen management and staff supervisionKnowledge of inventory management and food cost controlAbility to plan menus and ensure food quality and consistencyExcellent organizational and leadership skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work in a teamKnowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchenCulinary degree or relevant certifications are a plusExperience in a similar role is preferred
