5 AXIS CNC Programmer Gray Manufacturing Technologies Denver, NC Shifts: First Due to continued business growth, Gray Manufacturing Technologies, a supplier of complex 5-axis machined parts to the aerospace industry, is seeking to hire a CNC Programmer. The Position In this key role, the CNC Programmer is responsible for safely setting up tools, programming parts and operating 5 Axis CNC Milling, Turning, and Mill-Turn equipment to ensure manufacturing of the highest quality parts in the most efficient manner. Responsibilities Program sophisticated parts for 5 Axis CNC Machines Operate 3-5 axis machine tools to manufacture complex parts for the Aerospace Industry. Perform in-process inspection to produce product in compliance within production guidelines to ensure safety, quality, health and environmental procedures are followed. Working with Engineering to develop best machine programming techniques and tooling selection as required, document and report adjustments/corrections. Will be required to operate multiple production machines. Use of manufacturing reporting systems. Adherence to the company’s Quality Management Systems and Standards. Qualifications Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience. Proven ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process plans. Mastercam Experience Knowledge of GD&T preferred. Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Associate Degree or Diploma from a Technical College or Trade School preferred. Must be fluent in G & M code and proven ability trouble shoot programs.
