Cath Lab Tech Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,044 per week Shift Information: 4 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiovascular Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required License: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience - RCIS certification - COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series - BLS certification (AHA) - ACLS certification Description: The Cardiovascular Technologist will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures. This includes the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate equipment as needed. Maintaining sterile instruments is essential. The Cardiovascular Technologist will function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are necessary for this position. Experience with Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever is required. Mechanical Circulatory Support experience including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and ProtekDuo is vital. Experience with Structural Heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, and Valvuloplasty is important. Critical care or cardiac experience is required. The position requires a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification through CCI or ARRT, with a preference for ARRT.
