Cath Lab Tech Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,044 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiovascular Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Primarily Days with some late nights and on-call requirements Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience License: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series Description: Cardiac Cath/EP Lab Cardiovascular Technologist The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) assists with invasive cardiac procedures. They prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures. This includes the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate equipment while maintaining sterile instruments. Cardiovascular Technologists will function in multiple roles of the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are essential. Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever is required. Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo. Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, and Valvuloplasty is also required. Critical care or Cardiac experience is necessary. Candidates must hold the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through CCI or ARRT (preferably ARRT).
