Property Accountant / Senior Property Accountant
DisruptiX Talent Solutions is currently working with two established real estate investment and property management groups in Orange County that are actively adding to their accounting teams due to continued portfolio growth and acquisitions.These are not entry-level accounting roles — both teams are looking for individuals who understand the pace and operational side of property accounting and can operate in fast-moving commercial real estate environments.The portfolios primarily consist of industrial, commercial and retail properties throughout Southern California. The environments are collaborative, stable and offer strong long-term growth potential with direct exposure to leadership, asset management and property operations.Responsibilities Include:Full-cycle property accounting and month-end close for assigned entities/propertiesFinancial statement preparation, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysisCAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease administration supportBank reconciliations, intercompany activity, and balance sheet analysisPartnering closely with property managers and operations teamsSupporting acquisitions, reporting, budgeting, and process improvements as portfolios continue to expandWhat They Are Looking For:2+ years of property accounting or real estate accounting experienceCommercial, industrial, or retail real estate exposure strongly preferredExperience working in multi-entity environmentsStrong Excel skills and comfort managing large volumes of financial dataExperience with Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, JD Edwards, or similar systems is highly preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferredAdditional Info:Opportunities range from Property Accountant to Senior Property Accountant levelCompensation generally ranges from ~$80K–$120K+ depending on experienceMix of fully onsite and hybrid opportunities in Irvine/Newport Beach areaStrong benefits, bonus potential, and long-term stabilityIf you have experience within property accounting and are open to hearing about opportunities in the Orange County market, feel free to apply directly for a confidential discussion.
