Foundry Manufacturing Engineering Manager

JOB DUTIES: The role will be a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Mapleton Foundry and Machine Shop. Responsbile for leadership over manufacturing engineering team consists of up to eight direct reports including manufacturing engineers and production non-traditional roles. Accountable for value stream goals and alignment with operations on people, quality, velocity, and cost targets for full value stream – foundry and machine shop. Responsible for actively recruiting and continuing to build a strong performing team. Continuous improvement project leadership. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Requires analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communications skills. This position requires a 4-year college degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline with 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, or equivalent 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience. Direct leadership, project leadership, or team lead experience required. Foundry or machining process experience required.
