DO NOT APPLY IF YOU REQUIRE SPONSORSHIPJob Title: Conveyor Project Engineer – Hybrid/Remote OpportunitiesLocation: Hybrid; On-site T/W/Th with flexibility across US sites as neededTravel: Up to 50% travel to GM sites across the US (reimbursed)Work Type: Full-time, FFW physical required, no sponsorship, no driving requirementRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced Conveyor Project Engineer to support conveyor projects across multiple GM sites. This role involves high interaction with internal teams and suppliers, hands-on project work, and potential off-shift schedules depending on project phases.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage conveyor projects of various sizes across different sites.Collaborate with suppliers and GM teams in the technology space.Participate in project and supplier meetings; coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Assist in body shops and general assembly as needed.Support workloads that may vary; heavy onsite presence during critical phases.Participate in GM contract worker shutdown days and potentially work holidays.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 7 years of experience in conveyor technologies and supplier projects.Experience with chain skid and skillet conveyor systems.Strong project management skills.Excellent written and oral communication for all levels of project participants.Automotive industry experience preferred.Preferred:Experience with multiple suppliers and cross-functional teams.Exposure to various technology and conveyor systems.Candidate Value Proposition:Work across multiple GM sites and projects with diverse teams.Gain exposure to a wide range of conveyor technologies and supplier interactions.Opportunity for extension based on performance and project needs.
