Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily operations at a specialty chemical manufacturing site in greater New Orleans. This role oversees all plant production activities while driving safety, reliability, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.What You’ll Do:Lead day-to-day production operations and support long-term planningEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient plant performanceCollaborate with site leadership on budgeting, capital planning, and operational strategyBuild, coach, and develop operations personnel; support training and onboardingPartner closely with maintenance, supply chain, and other plant functionsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related) highly preferred4-6+ years of hands-on chemical manufacturing experience3+ years in Lead, Supervisor, or Manager-level roleProven capabilities to drive cultural change and instill Operational Excellence practices
