This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly step in to support accounts receivable efforts. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing a portfolio of outstanding accounts, driving timely payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a fully onsite role in Brisbane, CA, requiring five days per week in the office. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and comfortable working cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve overall cash flow.Responsibilities:Contact customers to collect outstanding payments via phone, email, and other communication channelsManage and prioritize a portfolio of overdue accounts to maximize cash collections and improve aging performanceNegotiate payment arrangements and follow up to ensure timely resolution of past-due balancesReview accounts receivable aging reports, research discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams (billing, sales, operations) to resolve disputesPrepare and maintain accurate documentation of collection activities, customer interactions, and account statusProvide regular reporting on collection status and key metrics to Finance leadershipAddress customer questions regarding invoices, billing discrepancies, or account balances professionallySupport process improvements to enhance the efficiency of collections and accounts receivable functionsAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
