Responsibilities Lead after-school coding sessions using age-appropriate programming tools and platforms to teach foundational coding concepts Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all students Supervise children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times Incorporate team-building exercises and youth group activity facilitation techniques to promote collaboration among students Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and behavior in a professional manner Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while fostering enthusiasm for learning Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Proficiency in teaching coding or computer science concepts to young learners, with experience in tutoring or youth programs teaching preferred Ability to operate first aid equipment such as AEDs and perform CPR confidently when necessary Demonstrated leadership in youth group activities or outdoor work experience involving children Compassionate approach with background in special education, Christian counseling, or working with students with diverse needs is a plus Join us in making a meaningful impact by empowering children through technology education!
