Our reputation is built on innovation, technical expertise, and delivering reliable, scalable security solutions in complex environments.Position OverviewThe Construction Integration Lead plays a critical role in bridging construction operations and physical security system deployment. This individual serves as the primary liaison between Digi, general contractors, project managers, and field teams to ensure seamless coordination, technical accuracy, and successful project execution.This role requires a strong understanding of construction environments, access control hardware, and field operations, along with the ability to proactively identify risks, solve problems, and drive projects forward.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction & Project CoordinationAct as the central point of contact between Digi, general contractors (GCs), project managers, and partnersCoordinate project activities to ensure alignment with construction schedules and milestonesSupport project managers in managing field execution, vendors, and subcontractorsProactively identify and resolve job site conflicts, delays, and coordination challengesTechnical Integration & Hardware ExpertiseProvide subject matter expertise in access control and low-voltage systemsEnsure proper system functionality, including fail-safe vs. fail-secure operation and life safety complianceReview and interpret project drawings, specifications, and site conditions; make recommendations and redlines as neededStakeholder Communication & LeadershipCommunicate clearly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and next stepsBuild strong working relationships with GCs, project teams, and partnersEscalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with leadership on resolution strategiesOperational Efficiency & Process ImprovementIdentify recurring project challenges and implement process improvementsCollaborate with internal teams to improve documentation, communication workflows, and execution standardsTranslate complex construction coordination challenges into scalable, repeatable solutionsQualificationsRequired37+ years of experience in construction coordination, low-voltage systems, or physical security integrationStrong understanding of construction processes and working with general contractorsHands-on knowledge of access control systems, door hardware, and field installation practicesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specificationsProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex project environmentsStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsPreferredExperience with physical security platforms (e.g., access control, video surveillance systems)Background in low-voltage integration, electrical systems, or field engineeringOSHA certification or familiarity with job site safety standardsExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsWhat Success Looks LikeProjects are delivered on time with minimal rework or delaysStrong relationships and trust built with GCs, partners, and internal teamsProactive identification and resolution of risks before they impact timelinesContinuous improvement in coordination, communication, and execution processesBenefitsCompetitive compensation with performance-based bonus opportunities2 weeks of vacation (increasing to 3 weeks after one year)7 company-paid holidays401(k) with company matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageCompany-paid life insurance (with additional options available)Optional accident and critical illness coverageCompany-provided laptop, phone, uniforms, and toolsPaid training, licensing, and professional development opportunitiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to work at heights using ladders or liftsMust be able to differentiate colorsComfortable standing or sitting for extended periodsValid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standardsNote: This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed.
