Mechanic

Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-4:00 pm.Pay varies depending on experience.Minimum pay is $20/hr.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial sewing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with various equipment, including sewing machines, bag sealers, CAD cutters, and other machinery.Assist with basic electrical maintenance tasks such as wiring, circuit testing, and replacing electrical components under the guidance of the Technical Director.Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on tasks.Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex issues and improve maintenance processes.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance.Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong mechanical aptitude.Basic understanding of electrical systems and components; formal training is a plus.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.Call us at 706-226-6669Send your resume to juliana@matchstaffing.comFeel free to call or send us an email if you have any questions!
