Senior Clinical Scientist – Oncology

Job Title: Senior Clinical Scientist OncologyLocation: Remote (PST working hours preferred)Type: Contract (Initial 3 months with potential extension)Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to support late-stage oncology programs within a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical environment. This role will lead clinical development strategy and execution, providing scientific oversight across global clinical trials.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in oncology clinical development, with strong experience in late-phase studies and cross-functional leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of Clinical Development Plans (CDP), including strategy, indication prioritization, and milestone planningProvide scientific input into protocol design, study endpoints, and data analysis plans for Phase III oncology studiesServe as the scientific lead on cross-functional study teamsAuthor and review key documents including protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory submissions (INDs, CTAs)Partner with Clinical Operations to support study execution, data review, and issue resolutionCollaborate with Biostatistics on statistical analysis plans and endpoint developmentEngage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support investigator meetings and external collaborationsRepresent Clinical Science in governance and cross-functional discussionsRequired QualificationsPh.D. or PharmD with 10+ years of industry experienceStrong background in oncology clinical developmentExperience leading or contributing to global Phase III clinical trialsDeep understanding of oncology biology, translational science, and PK/PDProven experience developing and executing Clinical Development PlansExcellent scientific writing, data interpretation, and communication skills
