Asphalt Material Transfer Machine Operator

Location: Southeastern Pa, South Jersey, DelawareRoad-Con is seeking a skilled Asphalt Material Transfer Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating an asphalt material transfer machine to ensure the efficient and continuous supply of asphalt to the paving machine. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate an asphalt material transfer machine to supply asphalt to the paving machine.Monitor the material transfer process and adjust the machine to maintain a consistent and even flow.Work closely with the paving crew to ensure efficient and effective paving operations.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the material transfer machine.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the safety of other employees and the public.Work in various environmental conditions, including hot surfaces and uneven terrain.RequirementsExperience operating an asphalt material transfer machine.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent and even flow of materials.Valid driver’s license.Flexibility to work daytime and nighttime shifts based on project demands.Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in asphalt paving or related fields.Knowledge of material transfer (buggy) equipment, maintenance and repair.If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply for this position.How to Apply: When applying for a trade position, resumes/applications should be emailed directly to Road-Con, Inc. at hiring@road-con.com.
