Inventory Analyst

My client, a fast-growing consumer products company is seeking an Inventory Analyst to support warehouse operations and strengthen inventory controls across multiple 3PL locations. This role partners closely with Warehousing leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy, service-level performance, and data-driven decision-making that supports company growth. This position is located in Orange County and will be a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office).Key Responsibilities:Monitor, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple 3PL warehousesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, shrinkage, spoilage, and inventory holdsPartner with 3PL providers to improve receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processesAnalyze inventory trends, aging, and movement data to support procurement and production planningDevelop dashboards and reports (Excel/Power BI) to track KPIs such as accuracy, shrinkage, and claimsSupport new product launches and inventory transitionsDrive process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancementsServe as primary liaison between internal teams and warehouse partners for inventory-related mattersQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred; CPIM a plus3+ years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience (CPG preferred)Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and Power BI experienceExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot discrepancies using root cause analysisHighly analytical, detail-oriented, and self-directed with strong communication skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for a proactive inventory professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys driving operational excellence through data and collaboration.My client is offering a generous base salary and bonus.
