Maintenance/Process Apprentice

Job DescriptionThis position will be 3rd shifts technical resource with the ability to operate all of the equipment, help troubleshoot process related issues, and conduct the needed cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.Essential FunctionsConduct preventative maintenance and process tasks per the designated scheduleAbility to troubleshoot and resolve minor problems with production equipment and or process related issuesConduct regular cleaning of the equipment including the ability to work out of a platform liftBasic understanding and ability to run all the production equipment and run production as neededCommunicate through written and verbal channels with team leads, process tech, and maintenance techsAbility to understand functionality of the production machines and test/provide feedback regarding process improvements or maintenance upgradesMinimum QualificationsMust have good interpersonal skills, be a team player and a self-starter who can work with little or no supervision. Good people interaction skills needed to work with operators, engineers, and other non-technical personnelPosition requires 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work at heights using proper equipmentA team player who possesses an excellent attitudeSelf-directed and able to work with little direct supervisionUse logical thinking and the ability to analyze cause and effect situationsCapacity to address several issues or problems simultaneouslyCompensation InformationMarketITW is an equal opportunity employer.
