May assist with checking in company delivery drivers. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirementsEssential Functions: Promptly direct, receive, and unload freight from over the road drivers upon arrivalUsing warehouse systems, record inventory to ensure deliveries match invoicesCommunicate with over the road drivers regarding deliveries and scheduleRecord and manage damaged product via Budnet prior to loading damaged productEnsure all products are properly stacked and rotated in warehouseEnsure accuracy while performing all warehouse dutiesMust know and comply with Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers product freshness and rotation policiesMust be able to read, understand, and interpret all product code datesCompliance with all company and equipment safety regulationsExhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customerRepresents the company in a professional and courteous mannerMaintains a clean and safe work environmentAny other work as assignedNon Essential Functions: Maintain cleanliness of warehouse work areasStock pick lines and Tyguard line as necessaryAssist customers, Account Managers, and Drivers with pick-ups or inquiriesQualifications Essential Skills and Knowledge:Basic computer skills; Outlook email experience or ability to learnBasic mathematical aptitude skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions.Ability to obtain certification in forklift and pallet jack operations.Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers.Qualifications:18 years of age or olderHigh School or GED (General Education Diploma) requiredPrevious warehouse experience preferred, but not requiredWorking Conditions:Temperature/Climate: This position will spend 90% of the shift in a climate-controlled environment and 10% of the shift in an outdoor environmentSafety Considerations: This position will routinely drive forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other cleaning equipment. This position will occasionally drive a semi-tractor trailer which ranges from 36ft to 60ftPersonal Protective Equipment necessary: Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles may be requiredPhysical/Mental Organizational Capabilities: The individual in this role must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb stairs on a frequent basis. Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 24 lbs. without assistance, waist level, waist to should level, shoulder level to overhead. Must have ability to push/pull/lift a maximum of 165 lbs. with appropriate equipment. The ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions is required.
