Process Engineer / Project Engineer – Food Processing

*Process Engineer / Project Engineer – Food Processing* PEPM Group is seeking a Process Engineer / Project Engineer with experience in food-processing facility and production-line design. The ideal candidate will have strong experience sizing, selecting, and designing conveyor and material-handling systems. This is full time on site position in Fayetteville, AR or Tulsa, OK *Responsibilities*

• Design food-processing and material-handling systems.
• Size and select conveyors based on product type, capacity, speed, accumulation, sanitation, and operating requirements.
• Develop process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate processing equipment and conveyors with structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, vendors, and client communications.
• Support site assessments, construction, commissioning, and plant startup.

*Qualifications*

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering.
• Five or more years of relevant food-processing engineering experience.
• Experience with conveyor design, equipment layouts, line balancing, and production throughput.
• Knowledge of sanitary design and food-safety requirements.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience required.
• USDA-regulated facility experience are required.
• Ability to travel to client and project sites as needed.
