Babylon Village Medical - Part-Time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description OverviewOur organization stands as a premier national platform dedicated to women's healthcare. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care for our affiliated practice, located in Babylon, New York, with the potential to transition to a full-time role in early 2027. Babylon Village Medical Associates comprises a team of committed healthcare professionals, providing primary care alongside our Ob/Gyn services. Our mission is to support the overall health of individuals at every stage of life.Position Highlights:Conduct patient examinations, screenings, and treatments while documenting health histories.Prescribe medications and therapies; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.Work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible).Manage a patient load of approximately 20-30 patients per day.Join a fully licensed medical team consisting of 3 MD/DOs and supportive staff.Compensation and Benefits:Attractive compensation package.Reimbursement for Continuing Medical Education (CME).Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer matching.Short- and long-term disability coverage, along with company-paid life insurance.Malpractice insurance covered by the organization.A supportive and appreciative workplace culture.Requirements:National Nurse Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it.Active, unrestricted licensure in the state or the ability to secure it.Current unrestricted DEA License or the ability to obtain one.CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or the ability to acquire them.Skilled in assessment and formulation of treatment plans.Strong communication skills with patients, team members, and management.Capability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision.Preferred: One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner.About Us:Our organization is affiliated with the largest physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network in the country, encompassing over 900 affiliated practices and 2,500 providers across 17 states and Washington, D.C.
