We are seeking a growth-oriented, driven professional who can work both independently and collaboratively. In this role, you will lead complex technical tasks while delivering the "white-glove" service our clients expect and deserve.Role OverviewThe Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of the tax planning, preparation, and review process for their assigned client base. You will lead complex tax research projects, manage client compliance and reporting, and act as a trusted advisor.Key Responsibilities· Tax Review & Preparation: Review complex individual, business, and trust tax returns. Prepare highly complex returns as needed.· Strategic Planning: Prepare tax projections and proactively identify tax-saving opportunities for UHNW/HNW clients.· Project Management: Organize workflows, prioritize engagements, and ensure all statutory deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.· Research & Analysis: Perform high-level tax research, document potential issues within returns and workpapers, and assess legislative proposals through a strategic tax lens.· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with personnel throughout the company to obtain, analyze, and synthesize data for seamless tax compliance.· Team Leadership: (Optional but recommended) Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to junior tax staff and seniors.Qualifications· Education & Licensure: Active CPA license required.· Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting. Experience with UHNW clientele is highly preferred.· Technical Skills: Excellent analytical and tax accounting skills. Proficiency in tax compliance, consulting, and modern tax software (UltraTax is preferred or similar).· Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
