Special Education Teacher - 26/27 School Year

The Neosho School District is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.Primary Tasks & Major Activities include, but are not limited to:Provide high-quality instruction aligned to district curriculum and grade-level expectationsServe as an instructional leader through inquiry-based and project-based learningCollaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to plan curriculum, create common assessments, and analyze student dataUse research-based instructional strategies and authentic assessment practices to inform instructionDeliver intentional and differentiated instruction based on individual student dataMaintain effective classroom management and foster positive student relationshipsSupport character development and maintain strong parent/teacher communicationParticipate in district and building professional development and grade-level collaborationWork successfully as part of a highly collaborative instructional teamSupport and follow district and building vision and initiativesQualifications:Valid Missouri teaching certification appropriate to grade levelStrong instructional, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
