Job DetailsDescriptionPrimary Responsibilities: The uniquely qualified candidate will possess the following prerequisites, but are not limited to:Well-educated on worldly culinary trends, food, wine, cocktailsKnows the San Antonio market and target demographics/psychographicsPride in San Antonio history and cultureAttends community events – great networkerCreative VisionExcellent writing and communication skillsFamiliar with fine and unique dining venuesFluent and prolific with Social MediaExhibits integrity – no kick-backs or pay-to-play relationshipsBilingual preferredExperience in hotel food & beverage operations preferredBachelor’s Degree preferredCreate unique, transformational culinary events for hotel guests that showcase local culinary and beverage flavorEnsure guest experience is extraordinary through notable offerings unique to the guests’ expectationsHandle all service-related requests from guests (i.e. flowers, transportation, luggage, etc.) with absolute flawless deliveryArrange for distinctive and custom dining experiences and restaurant reservations.Ensure receipt and timely delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries, etc. to guest rooms.Ensure that our one-of-a-kind public area (lobby) is pristine and well maintained by partnering with Housekeeping department.Set up impressive amenities for VIP guests or guests celebrating special occasions.Interact with other departments to ensure that all guest’s needs are supremely satisfied.Proactively work to improve the hotel experience for our guests.Accept other special duties as required by management.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum one year previous experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment.Preferable to have received training in customer Service in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment.OtherRegular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
