Mystique - Bartender

As a Bartender, a typical day might include the following:Greeting guests with a welcoming smile providing them with fast, friendly serviceAccurately taking the guest's drink order and preparing in accordance with company recipe before presenting to guestsMonitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelinesEnsuring consistency by following company recipes and standardsPromoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional mannerWorking well with others as you will be working with other bartenders, servers, bar backs, and managementRemembering guest's names and utilizing them when appropriateBuilding guest loyalty and a regular clienteleSharing weekly events and future eventsResolving service problems with empathy and according to company guidelinesMaintaining a clean and stocked work environmentArranging bottles and glassware to maintain an attractive displayOther duties as assignedThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment requiredMust have evening and full weekend availabilityTIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the positionMust be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background checkMust have the ability to complete the process for the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission license prior to startingYou present a neat and professional appearanceAbility to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workersAbility to demonstrate teamwork with other staff membersAbility to accurately count money and provide necessary changePhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
