WRNS Studio EmployerSan Francisco, CA, USLocation:Full-timeTypeSat, Mar 28 '26Posted on:WRNS Studio is seeking a Project Architect for our San Francisco studio.ResponsibilitiesLead design teams through all phases of projects, from concept to construction on various sizes and levels of complexityProvide project team leadership and coordinate with consultants to engage clients, aligning vision and deliverablesParticipate in production and oversee documentation of projects from concept, through entitlement, to permit submissionOversee construction administration, ensuring design intent is maintained through executionExercise knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, and construction techniquesWork independently and as part of a project team, collaborating effectively to achieve excellence in design and sustainabilityRequirementsProfessional Degree in Architecture (BArch / MArch)Registered, licensed architect (LEED accreditation a plus)Minimum 8+ years of architectural and planning experience with strong technical, design, and leadership skillsDemonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale projectsPreferred candidate will have some experience with interior architecture, especially for workplaceExperience working in all phases of architectural projects, including Construction AdministrationExperience permitting projects through local Authorities-Having-JurisdictionStrong knowledge of local building codesExcellent Revit skills requiredProficiency in Rhino, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite – or a variety of conceptual design, rendering, and presentation graphics software platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and problem-solving skillsWork locationPlease note, this position is expected to work on-site.
