Mammography Technologist - Hospital - Atlanta, GA

Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience 2 years in specialty required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure in the state of employment. AHA BLS certification required. Any other required certifications (e.g., ACLS). Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with state guidelines and policies and identify potential issues and propose corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and statistics, including staffing levels, inventory, and patient care. Maintain a professional and high standard of patient care and attend institutional staff meetings as directed. Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
