Substitute Food Service WorkerThis substitute food service worker position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria on an as-needed basis.Duties may include:Cooking and food preparationPortioning and serving foodSanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelinesHAACP and health department regulation complianceAssisting to monitor costs and inventory controlsQualifications:Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checksAbility to read recipes and basic math skills requiredA positive and consistent work ethicReliable transportation to and from workA willingness to learn and grow within your positionFood service experience preferredComputer literacy preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPhysical requirements may include:Standing for long periods of timeSitting, pushing, pullingLifting up to and in excess of 40lbsWalkingThe Nutrition Group is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all qualified applicants.
