If you're the type of person who spots issues before they happen, keeps complex schedules moving, and produces immaculate documents under pressure, then this one will feel like home.THE ROLEAs a core part of the administrative support function, you will act as the operational backbone for a busy legal practice. You'll manage competing priorities with discretion, maintain immaculate files and documents, and ensure the Partner and attorneys remain focused on client work.This is a role for someone who is calm under pressure, exceptionally organized, and understands the standards of a high-performance legal environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a professional first point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external counselManage complex calendars, scheduling across time zones and shifting prioritiesHandle inbox/phone triage and ensure priorities are actioned swiftlyPrepare, format, edit, and proofread legal documents with exceptional accuracyMaintain and manage client/matter files (electronic and hard copy where applicable)Coordinate filings and court submissions as required (experience with e-filing is highly valued)Support conflict checks, client onboarding, and engagement processesAssist with billing processes, proformas, time entry, and general financial trackingArrange domestic/international travel, itineraries, expenses, and reimbursementsCoordinate meetings, conferences, and client-facing eventsLiaise with internal departments (billing, HR, IT, records, facilities) to keep workflows movingHandle highly sensitive information with complete discretionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORExperience:2+ years supporting attorneys in a top law firm or corporate/professional services environmentExposure to Big Law standards strongly preferredSkills & Strengths:Strong document production capabilities (Word formatting, styling, tables, TOCs, redlines)Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlinesConfident communicator with polished, professional judgementComfortable juggling priorities and anticipating needsAbility to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all timesTech:Strong MS Office skills required (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with document management systems and e-billing is a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree preferred (but not essential for the right profile)WHY THIS OPPORTUNITYJoin a globally recognized firm with an outstanding reputation in BostonWork closely with an impressive Partner and high-performing teamExcellent professional development and long-term progression potentialHighly collaborative culture with strong internal support resourcesA role that offers genuine responsibility and visibilityPay TransparencyThe expected salary range for this position is $90,000 – $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.This role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which can include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other firm-sponsored benefits.
