The facility will launch at approximately 500 rooms and is expected to scale quickly to more than 4,000 rooms.RoleThis role carries full site responsibility and requires a senior leader with demonstrated experience managing large, complex hospitality or accommodation environments. The Assistant Site Manager provides strategic leadership and hands‑on project management across key service lines, including:Facilities maintenanceDining and food servicesCleaning and housekeepingLaundry servicesThe successful candidate will build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing, service‑driven team, ensuring operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety, guest experience, and client satisfaction.This is a safety‑sensitive position and requires drug, alcohol, and fit‑to‑work testing as a condition of employment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and accountability for daily site operations and long‑term performanceEnsure maximum client and guest satisfaction through consistent, high‑quality hospitality servicesUphold and enforce Dexterra standards related to food quality, service consistency, cleanliness, and Health & Safety programsLead and support hiring initiatives, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with Human ResourcesDeliver financial oversight, including revenue forecasting, budget development, and cost controlDevelop and manage staffing plans and schedules aligned with client forecasts and operational demandEnsure profitability and financial discipline through strict adherence to approved budgetsProvide clear direction and delegation to support smooth daily operations across all departmentsAct as the primary point of accountability for the client relationship and operational outcomesQualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?The ideal candidate brings senior‑level operational leadership experience and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and service excellence.You Are Someone WhoHas 3+ years of progressive hospitality or accommodations management experience, ideally in large‑scale hotels, resorts, workforce accommodations, or comparable environmentsHas held operational leadership roles with accountability for multiple service streamsPossesses post‑secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related disciplineDemonstrates strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysisIs highly proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with hospitality or facilities management systemsExhibits a high degree of ownership, empathy, customer service, and responsiveness to guest and client needsIs comfortable operating in fast‑growth, high‑complexity environments and leading teams through scale‑upAdditional InformationDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
