Material Supply Associate

Nesco Resource is seeking a Material Supply Associate for one of our long-term clients in Auburn Hills. This is a 6 AM- 6 PM rotating shift. You will work 3 12-hour days one week and work 4 the next week. Job Summary: The Material Supply Associate is responsible for ensuring production lines are consistently stocked with the materials and components needed to maintain efficient assembly operations. This role supports production by delivering, organizing, and monitoring inventory on the plant floor. Key Responsibilities: Deliver materials and components to designated assembly lines in a timely manner Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to avoid production delays Transport materials using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) Verify the accuracy of materials against work orders or pick lists Maintain clean and organized storage and production areas Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding material shortages or issues Assist with inventory counts and tracking Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus Ability to operate material handling equipment (or willingness to be trained) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, temperature variations, etc.)Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
