Quality Engineer
Under general supervision, facilitates quality improvements by developing methods and procedures to improve and maintain product quality standards.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Gathers and analyzes data to plan, coordinate and report quality improvements.
Troubleshoots quality problems for internal or external concerns and drive root cause analysis within all areas of the organization.
Participates in projects for production application needed to assist in driving continuous improvements.
Conducts internal quality controls concerning particular areas or company products to ensure quality procedures and norms are met.
Assists monitoring and recording inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
Collaborates with more experienced engineers or Managers in preparing quality analyses and recommends necessary quality procedure changes.
Prepares reports on rejected or defective products.

Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 2 year related experience.
Work involves the application of more complex engineering principles to develop methods and procedures to improve and maintain product quality standards.
Competencies in SPC, Capability Studies, and Six Sigma.

Pay: $73,877.00 - $76,263.00 per year
