The successful candidate will be responsible for leading new projects in PCIe 5.0 board level designs for RAID storage controller card. You will work closely with other Hardware Engineers, Software Product Test, NPI and PM teams to bring new RAID storage controller cards from prototype stage to market production.Responsibilities:Design and develop high-speed hardware boards, including schematic capture, circuit-level board design, and layout constraintsLead high-speed differential pair routing and ensure compliance with signal integrity requirementsLead hardware debug, prototype bring-up, and validation of new board designsImplement and support circuit designs involving DDR5, I2C/I3C, CPLD, and PCIe 5.0 technologiesIdentify, analyze, and resolve hardware design and integration issues during development and manufacturing phasesDevelop and maintain Functional Hardware Specifications outlining major functional blocks and system behaviorCommunicate circuit design intent, layout guidelines, and design constraints clearly to the CAD/layout teamProvide technical guidance to ensure optimal board layout, performance, and manufacturabilityDemonstrate strong communication and debugging skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science12+ years of relevant experience6-10 of years of experience in Board Design:DDR4/5 circuit designI2C/I3C circuit designCPLD/FPGA Logic designPCIe 4.0/5.0 designPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of AGILE Product Lifecycle Management systemStrong Communications SkillsStrong Debug SkillsTravel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Feeling, Hearing, Other, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:10% walking, 10% standing, 80% sitting, 100% in doors; Usual business hoursPay Range:We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
