Loader/Unloader

*Job Summary* Odd Bunch is looking for a Loader/Unloader to support our daily food delivery operations. The role involves unloading food packages from trucks and trailers, organizing orders by delivery zones, assisting drivers with loading their vehicles, and coordinating with drivers and dispatchers to ensure an efficient dispatch process.Your proactive approach will help keep our delivery operations running smoothly, supporting timely order fulfillment and delivery. This position offers an energetic environment where safety, teamwork, and precision are top priorities. *Responsibilities* * Unload trucks and trailers containing food packages and produce. * Organize incoming packages efficiently on skids according to delivery zones and routes. * Sort and stage packages so drivers can quickly locate and load their assigned orders. * Assist drivers with loading their vehicles according to designated delivery zones. * Coordinate closely with on-call dispatchers and drivers throughout the loading and dispatch process. * Communicate any missing, misplaced, or damaged packages to the appropriate team member. * Help maintain an organized and efficient loading area to minimize delays *Skills* * Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or delivery experience is an asset. * Comfortable with physically demanding work, including lifting and moving food packages. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers and dispatchers. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong attention to detail when sorting packages by route and delivery zone. * Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
