The Wastewater Project Manager will be responsible for the performance of project team members and will work closely with team members to provide high-quality deliverables on time and on budget to AE2S clients. ResponsibilitiesProvide professional services for wastewater engineering projects to include planning, study, design, and construction administrationManage performance of assigned project team members including Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, and TechniciansMaintain existing client relationships and develop relationships with prospective/new clientsIdentify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunitiesProvide quality control and quality assurance on all project workMaintain budgets and schedules of project assignmentsCoordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetingsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months6+ years consulting experience in wastewater treatmentStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business developmentAbility to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team membersPrior project management experienceAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in civil engineering or related field8+ years consulting experience in wastewater treatmentProven client relationshipsKnowledge of design standards and permittingKnowledge of Colorado funding programsPhysical QualificationsAbility to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
