Embedded Flight Software EngineerLocation: Broomfield, CO 80021Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3+ days onsite per week)We're hiring an Embedded Flight Software Engineer to develop and maintain the software that powers spacecraft systems. In this role, your code will connect flight computers to thrusters, sensors, and telemetry-playing a direct role in mission success.You'll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with avionics, propulsion, GNC, and integration teams, building software that must perform flawlessly in orbit. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys low-level coding, hardware bring-up, and solving complex real-time challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop embedded software in C/C++ for ARM microcontrollersImplement telemetry, command handling, control loops, and fault managementDebug and integrate software with avionics and subsystem hardwareContribute to in-orbit update mechanisms and test environmentsQualificationsStrong embedded development experience (C/C++, RTOS, hardware bring-up)Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-422/485, etc.)Hands-on debugging and integration with real hardwareBachelor's in Computer, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $130,000 - $160,000Equity participationMedical, dental, vision, 401(k), company-paid insuranceUnlimited PTO We look forward to reviewing your application.
