Role DescriptionThe ideal candidate is someone with telecom knowledge, intuitive thinking, and managerial talents that inspire others. This is a full-time hybrid role with a minimum of three days in the office. The Lead Civil Engineer will be responsible for the designing and review of new site builds while collaborating and leading other engineers and designers. Responsibilities: Design of telecom sites from conception to construction, including layout from scratch, antenna mount design & site plan approvalDevelopment and review of construction drawings, specifications, and detailing for new and existing cell sitesPerform site inspections and condition assessments on existing sites and prepare reportsLead and train Jr Engineers and CAD designersPrepare sketches and perform drafting using AutoCAD QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering with minimum 4 years' experience, telecom experience preferredIf no degree, must have a minimum of 8 years telecom design experienceNew site development experience required; tower sites/rooftops in tri-state area a plusExperience with developing drawings in AutoCADKnowledge of building envelope structural componentsKnowledge of construction drawing standardsAbility to perform inspections of sites and other structures, both visually and with instrumentsAbility to record data clearly and write passages for reports, letters, etc.Ability to drive and safely operate a motor vehicleDesign of telecom sites from conception to construction, including layout from scratch, antenna mount design & site plan approval
