Come fly with usJob DescriptionAre you someone who enjoys pickleball and would like to share your knowledge of the sport with others? Volo Sports is hiring Pickleball Instructors for our very own Pickleball clinics, located at various Volo venues like The Park at Brewers Hill and Volo Beach!Our Pickleball Instructors will teach group and private lessons in a professional and safe manner to Volo participants, and also assist with special events.Clinics will take place Saturday & Sunday mornings and run from 10:30am - 1:30pm.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Instruct all levels from beginner to advancedConduct group and private lessonsDesign and implement lesson plansAbility to demonstrate Pickleball techniquesAble to properly evaluate participants for placement in lesson groups or leaguesProgram development: assist in developing and coordinating member retention activities, maintain accurate records for classes, assist in development of new opportunities for members by offering insight and inputAssist with court cleanliness and general maintenanceEnforcement of venue policies and rulesDemonstrate accountability to schedule by starting and ending sessions on time and avoiding missedAssist with promotional activities and eventsMaintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and in ongoing work-related relationships with all personsPREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Candidates must be reliable, mature, courteous, professional and have knowledge/experience playing or instructing PickleballMust have excellent customer service/communication skillsMust be comfortable with reporting safety hazards and responding to First Aid incidentsBe flexible with schedulingMust be available to work evenings and/or weekendsHigh School Diploma/GED EquivalentA car or access to reliable transportation"WOW" Us With ...Passion for sports and social activitiesOutgoing and ready to handle anything presentedPunctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitudeWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Are you authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Volo?Will you now or in the future require Volo to commence ("sponsor") an immigration case in order to employ you (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case)?
