This role will be focused on credit ratings and research across the transportation sector, including aviation, shipping and rail. The position will be based out of KBRA's New York office.About the JobAnalyze financial statements of companiesPrepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials, and assist senior analysts in rating process and research effortsPresent rating recommendations in rating committees and participate in external management meetings and investor callsMonitor portfolio of companies for significant developmentsAssist in ensuring key procedures and processes are adhered toQualifications0-2 years of work experience in a financial analysis role within financial services or rating agencyExcellent communication (verbal and written) and Excel skillsAbility to work as part of a collaborative team in a challenging and dynamic environmentStrong interest and/or relevant experience in ratings and/or financial sector transactionsCFA and knowledge of Bloomberg considered positivelyFamiliarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plusSalary RangeThe anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $95,000.
