We partner with clients, architects, and foodservice teams to turn ideas into practical, high-quality design documents using BIM tools such as Revit® and AutoCAD®.Role DescriptionSurcana is seeking a full-time, on-site Kitchen Design Consultant & Draftsperson in Houston, TX. In this role, you will design and draft commercial kitchen layouts tailored to client needs, collaborate directly with customers to understand project requirements, and develop detailed kitchen designs and MEP schedules. You will also serve as a key point of contact for clients while coordinating closely with architects and engineers throughout the design process.Qualifications·       Experience drafting commercial kitchens and/or in commercial kitchen fabrication.·       Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to client needs.·       Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.·       Ability to present design concepts and clearly communicate recommendations.·       Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.·       Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
