Painter Opportunity With Novant Health As a Painter with Novant Health, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment by repairing and restoring interior finishes throughout the hospital. Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full benefits package medical, dental, vision from day one Retirement plan with employer contributions PTO and paid holidays Direct hire with Novant Health you're part of the team MondayFriday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. No routine on-call or weekend schedule Must be flexible to respond to the changing and sometimes urgent needs of a hospital environment Work is performed in active patient care areas alongside patients, visitors, and clinical team members Paint walls, trim, and fixtures throughout healthcare facilities Patch and repair drywall, plaster, and other wall surfaces Install wall coverings, corner guards, and wall protection materials Lay cove base and replace floor coverings as needed Replace and install ceiling tiles Estimate materials and labor for assigned projects Safely use hand and power tools appropriate to the trade High school diploma or GED required Four years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of diploma Minimum one year of hands-on experience in painting, patching, and installing wall coverings, ceiling tile, wall protection, rubber base, and floor coverings required Healthcare experience preferred Commercial or apartment maintenance experience preferred Valid driver's license required Skilled with hand and power tools used in painting and finish work Ability to plan work, estimate materials, and manage basic job costs Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to accurately distinguish colors Professional and respectful while working in occupied healthcare spaces At Novant Health, we believe remarkable care starts with compassion for our patients, our communities, and each other.
