CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.Prepare and position patients for CT examinations while ensuring comfort and safety.Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment efficiently and safely.Review images for quality, accuracy, and diagnostic value before submission to radiologists.Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies.Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.Assist in emergency situations and provide compassionate patient care.Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education programs.Required QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.ARRT Certification in Radiography (R).ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or CT Registry Eligible.Current State License (where applicable).Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred (varies by facility).Experience with contrast administration and IV insertion preferred.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.Ability to operate CT scanners and imaging software.Excellent patient care and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
