Security Engineer - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Security Engineer - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $98,614 – $167,644 annuallyResponsibilities Perform Static Application Security Testing (SAST) to identify vulnerabilities Conduct Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) Create and update threat models for FISMA systems Assist and lead security incident response Document System Security Plans and Contingency Plans Ensure security systems are up to date and document security-related information Review policies for compliance and identify remediation areasQualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 5+ years of professional security engineering experience Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Must reside and work in the U.S Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 out of the last 5 yearsBenefits Flexible work hours within core hours of 10am - 4pm ET Opportunity for annual travel for collaboration or conferences Possibility of working in a consulting environment Exposure to multiple products and security scenarios Engagement with senior-level management for career growthOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
