Experience Level Entry Level Location California, USA Commitment Full-time Date Posted 11 October 2023 Job Summary Quality Control Technician Job Summary: The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products or services to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting various quality control procedures, documenting findings, and collaborating with other departments to resolve quality-related issues. Quality Training: The Quality Control Manager will provide training to employees on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. Salary and Benefits: $18-$22/Hr Eligible for all the benefits that Nanotech Provides The Quality Control Technician reports to and may be given other assigned responsibilities by the Quality Control Manager at Nanotech Energy, Inc. Roles and Responsibilities Inspection and Testing: Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products or services to verify compliance with quality standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results, including detailed documentation of any defects or deviations from specifications. Sampling: Collect and analyze samples of raw materials, components, or finished products according to sampling plans and procedures. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, patterns, and potential quality issues. Collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions as needed. Reporting: Prepare reports summarizing inspection and test results, including recommendations for corrective actions or process improvements. Non-Conformance Management: Identify and report non-conforming products or processes and assist in the investigation of root causes and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Required Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or related field. Familiarity with quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or deviations Physical Requirements: The job may require standing, walking, and lifting of moderately heavy objects or equipment. Working Conditions: Quality Control Technicians may work in manufacturing plants, laboratories, or other production environments, and they may need to wear protective gear or follow safety protocols. Desired Characteristics Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of measurement and testing equipment. Proficiency in using software for data analysis and reporting.
