In this role, you'll deliver outstanding customer service, handle inquiries, manage complaints, process orders, and provide vital administrative and operational support. Whether in-person, over the phone, or in the field, you'll interact with the public in a professional and positive manner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoServe as the primary contact for customers, resolving inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring satisfaction.Assist with forms, reports, and data entry in the department's database.Manage stray animal control requests and communicate with field operations.Assist in the veterinary clinic, vaccinate stray animals, and occasionally fill in for Animal Services dispatch.Help customers with various needs while maintaining accurate records of interactions.Education, Experience, LicensingWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent)One (1) year of fast-paced customer service experiencePreferred SkillsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAnimal handlingProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Chameleon softwareFamiliarity with communication systems, such as two-way radios and digital camerasStrong written and verbal skills; ability to explain policies clearlyExcellent organizational skills with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfactionSupplemental InformationWork ScheduleHours: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMRotations: Rotating days off with one late evening shift each week (until 5:30 p.m.)Why Join Us?As a Customer Service Representative with Animal Services, you'll directly contribute to the well-being of animals and the community.
