DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: AssemblerPosition SummaryThe Assembler is responsible for performing safe and precise assembly operations on 2\"-36\" products, including both OGS and AGS systems. This role requires attention to detail, quality inspection capabilities, and adherence to safety and manufacturing standards while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with cross-functional teams.Job ExpectationsLearn and execute all elements of Safe Assembly Practices for 2\"-36\" Assembly, including both OGS (Oil & Gas Services) and AGS (Alternative Gas Services) systemsPerform assembly tasks according to specifications, drawings, and bills of materials (BOM)Navigate and utilize Medix system appropriately for each job/spool assignmentConduct in-process inspections including dimensional checks, orientation verification, and part validationPerform additional inspections as required by product specificationsVerify that all finished products meet or exceed customer standardsMaintain accurate records of inspections and results when applicableVerify that all tools are in safe working condition prior to useEnsure tool calibration is current and up to dateProperly maintain and care for all assigned equipmentComplete all required daily checklists and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasksMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsEnsure all area 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) duties are completedCommunicate effectively with Line Leads, Shift Supervisors, Operations Manager, and Engineering teamsReport any issues or discrepancies found between drawings/models and BOMs promptlyParticipate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferredFamiliarity with SWI (Standard Work Instructions) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) processes preferredComputer literacy with Microsoft Windows software preferredStrong understanding of shop math, including fraction-to-decimal conversionAbility to accurately read and use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and vernier scales preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints desiredExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work independently and efficientlySelf-motivated with strong attention to detailCommitment to safety and quality standardsPay: $18/hrSchedule: Mon-Thursday 6am-4:30pmVictaulic has what you're looking for - career opportunity, professional development, excellent benefits, and a collaborative work environment.
