Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

If you are looking for a long-term career with a great team, we want to talk to you.The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator ensures the proper shipping of products and receiving of goods.ResponsibilitiesProper packaging of various shipments. Keep shipping area neat and orderly. Turn in paperwork to accounting for shipping charges to be posted/added to customer invoices. Responsible to properly handle hazardous material shipments. Know procedures of UPS, Federal Express and Trucking Companies. Receiving of instrument repair items and office shipments. Pick up items between corporate and factory service when required. (corporate office) Assist with pulling kits when needed. (corporate office) Assist during physical inventories. Assist in stocking area with necessary supplies. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, And ExperienceHigh school diploma preferred. At least two years in shipping and receiving. Must be computer literate and have typing skills. Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
