HVAC Service Technician
Qualified candidate requirements: Experience providing residential HVAC service experience with a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record Good communication skills and mechanical aptitude Willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed Willing to work overtime, nights, weekend hours, and a 4-week on-call rotation Must be able to repair, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot the following: Hermetic compressor, heat pumps to 5 tons, split systems to 5 ton, packaged units to 5 tons, ductless splits, electric motors (1 and 3 phase), electric motor controls (contactors, starters, relays, disconnect, thermostats, etc) Residential and light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, and related controls (oil and gas) Various types of water pumps, intake and exhaust fans, unit heaters (hot water, steam and electric), economizers and humidifiers Be able to proficiently perform Soldering and brazing Certifications Universal EPA certification NATE and Kentucky Journeyman (not required but a definite plus)
