The opportunities are endless.Property Care Design AssociateJob OverviewThe Property Care Design Associate is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of landscape and property care projects. This role combines client interaction, creative design, and technical drafting using CAD software to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate ideas into detailed plans, ensuring designs align with environmental conditions, budget constraints, and long-term property care goals.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients to understand landscaping and property care needs, preferences, and budgetsAssist in developing comprehensive landscape and property care designsCreate detailed drawings and plans using CAD software (or hand drafting when needed) for the design associate and other team members as needed.Select appropriate plants, trees, and materials based on climate, soil, and design intentCoordinate with vendors, installation crews, and maintenance teams to execute designsModify and refine designs based on client feedback or site conditionsEnsure all projects comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standardsStay current with landscape design trends, sustainability practices, and plant knowledgeSupport multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelinesAvailable to take Property Care Annual Agreement accounts as needed.Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in landscape design, horticulture, or related field (internships acceptable for junior candidates)Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) preferredBasic knowledge of plant materials, growth requirements, and seasonal care practicesStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a strong eye for design and aestheticsPreferred SkillsDegree or coursework in Landscape Design, Horticulture, or related fieldExperience working with residential or commercial property care projectsFamiliarity with sustainable landscaping practicesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
