SysDev Engineer II, Leo Networking Software
Overview
In this role you will support Amazon Leo’s global satellite network by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network incidents to ensure high uptime. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy and onboard network capabilities across regions, while improving operational procedures and tooling. You’ll handle on-call rotations for severity incidents and contribute to scalable, reliable services that connect customers and organizations in underserved locations. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a fast-growing, mission-focused team.

ResponsibilitiesRespond to and escalate network incidents, diagnosing connectivity, performance, and security issuesSupport deployment and onboarding of network capabilities across geographic regionsMonitor network performance and ensure maximum efficiency and uptimeBuild and enhance tools and best practices to improve network operationsManage severity 2/3 tickets; participate in on-call rotationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (network, software, security) to resolve issues
